Vietnam has many more tourists today versus when I went in the mid nineties. When I went to Sa Pa in N.W. Vietnam there were many kids that had never seen skin as white as mine. They were as enthralled with me as I was with them. Before I left Canada I was told that the kids didn’t have much so I brought along balloons as small gifts to leave behind. When I gave the balloons the kids lit up and started playing with them immediately.
