Self Portrait with the Red Chairs — In 2008 my mom passed away after being ill for quite a while. My dad sold our family home and his future apartment had no room for these red chairs. These chairs are part of my past and part of my youth. I felt compelled to photograph them before the garbage truck was to come the following day.
